Mimico, New Toronto & Long Branch Market Update for December 2021

If you are wondering how the real estate market is in Mimico, New Toronto or Long Branch, I have the sold data for you. Let’s take a look at your Mimico, New Toronto & Long Branch Market Update for December 2021.

I’ve compiled the sold data for all freehold home types that sold in the last 6 months from June 1, 2021 to November 30, 2021.

Mimico Real Estate

As we move into the last month of 2021, inventory continues to be very low in the Mimico, New Toronto and Long Branch neighbourhoods. There were 9,017 sales recorded for November in the whole of the GTA which set a new record. 

Currently there are only 5 homes for sale in Mimico. There were 96 homes sold in Mimico in the last 6 months with an average days on market to sell a home in Mimico of 14. This is the same number as last month. If you missed last month’s market update, you can view it here

It is very interesting to note the differences in the 3 different neighbourhoods in the last six months. The average sold price in Mimico is $1,376,419. 

New Toronto Real Estate

In the New Toronto neighbourhood, there are 8 homes currently for sale, slightly higher  than Mimico. The average days on market it is taking to sell a house in New Toronto is 12. This tells us there is a slightly higher demand for homes in the New Toronto neighbourhood.

The average sold price in New Toronto is lower than Mimico at $1,292,758.

Long Branch

In the Long Branch neighbourhood, there are 4 homes currently for sale, even less than Mimico and New Toronto. The demand for homes in Long Branch is higher as the average days on market it is taking to sell a house is 11.
